Events Melbourne invites you to take part in Melbourne’s premier fashion event, Melbourne Fashion Week for 2018.

Volunteering is a fantastic opportunity to develop and further your skills within the industry, support your studies, meet fashion and events industry contacts and immerse yourself in all things fashion.
This opportunity will provide experience in: Back of House (BOH), Event Operations and Support, and Front of House (FOH) – Customer Service as well as the opportunity to take on leadership roles.

- Volunteers must be over the age of 16 to be eligible for a volunteer position
- Volunteers are to attend a compulsory interview and induction session if successful in obtaining a position (dates outlined in application form)
- Volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of 4 days during the event
- Volunteers will undertake 1-2 shifts per day.
Shifts will be 4-6 hours long with some dresser shifts being a maximum of 10 hours, adequate breaks will be given. Shifts will be rostered between the hours of 7.00am and midnight.

Volunteer engagement process
Applicants must have the legal right to work and any applicants who proceed to the next stage of the process must agree to undertake all necessary pre-employment checks including a police check and obtaining a Volunteer Status Working with Children Check.
